ThermiTight®

After losing weight or simply through the process of aging, skin loses its taught, resilient features. Whether you wish to regain your youthful look or tighten your skin after a major weightloss, ThermiTight® could be right for you.

The first aesthetic procedure of its kind, ThermiTight® reverses the effects of aging by going beneath the skin without a surgical procedure. Delivering controlled thermal energy, ThermiTight® is a non-invasive, skin-tightening procedure that is most commonly used in the neck and lower face. Although radio frequency (RF) energy itself is nothing new in the world of dermatology, ThermiTight® is the first to apply this energy underneath the skin, avoiding any discomfort caused by skin sensitivity and removing the limitations of how much energy can be applied.

How It Works

After losing weight or simply through the process of aging, skin loses its taught, resilient features. Whether you wish to regain your youthful look or tighten your skin after a major weightloss, ThermiTight® could be right for you.

With a tiny probe, Dr. Balshi will go under the skin to target tissues with a direct application of radio frequency. This procedure is orchestrated with safety in mind. Advanced thermal image guidance provides Dr. Balshi with real-time, external skin temperature monitoring to ensure precision. Additionally, Dr Balshi's system computers will regulate internal temperatures throughout the procedure. Shrinkage begins instantly because of the optimized, deep-tissue heating.

Before / After

F.A.Q.s

Which areas can ThermiTight® treat?

ThermiTight® can treat the neck, face, arms, knees, and abdomen.

What can I expect during the procedure?

Although a small incision is made with a probe, this is NOT a surgery, and there is no need for sutures.

How many treatments are required?

The beauty of ThermiTight® is that it requires very little time commitment, as it only needs one treatment to obtain permanent results.

Are there any side effects?

Patients have reported minimal to no discomfort after the procedure, which can be easily treated with an over-the-counter Acetaminophen, such as Tylenol. Prescription pain medications are rarely ever required during or after treatment. Slight swelling and redness can occur but only last 3 to 7 days following the treatment. Although patients may experience swelling, they are usually able to return to their normal activities within 24 hours.

When will I start seeing the results?

Most patients see results about a month after the procedure, but the skin will continue to improve for the next several months and up to a year.

Are the results permanent?

As with other aesthetic treatments, the skin cells treated will sustain permanent results; however, loosening of new skin cells after treatment is a common result of aging.
